Sooooo Funny!!!!

Frankie is such a funny little guy. I guess all kids are at his age, but since he is our child we of course think he is the most hilarious thing ever! Here are a few gems from this week that we want to remember.

Climbing the stairs the other day at the Dr's office. Frankie wanted to walk up by himself. So we climb the first set and he gets to the landing and I ask him if he wants me to carry him up the rest of the way...."No Mom, I got this all day long!".

When we get into the Dr. Office he goes to have his vitals done and he gets on the scales. I tell him "Wow you are a big boy" he says "Yeah Mommy Frankie Growing Up". Made me want to cry. Then the nurse wanted to listen to his lungs and heart and Frankie asked her "You gonna listen with your "Steffie Scope" and starts singing the Heart song from Baby School. "The heart is the muscle pumping all your blood. Arteries take blood away oh thats good. Veins visit the lungs so in the heart blood gets oxygen, and cycles once again." The nurse was so suprised. She asked me how he knows so much and I gave her Mrs. Virginia's Card. I love Mrs. Virginia! :)

Today Frankie came up and said "Mommy I a conductor....All Abord" and he waited. Then he said again "Mommy I a conductor....All Abord" and waited again. Then he got frustrated because I was obviously not catching on so he continued. "Mommy I a conductor! Where are we going? To the North Pole of Course...This is the Polar Express!" it was so cute I died laughing. He really does memorize everything lately!!

As a stay at home Mom it is so rewarding to see your child really learning from you. I love to just watch him play and hear him reciting lines from stories we have read or dancing and singing the songs we have sung together. There is nothing in this world that could possible give me greater joy than to know that my son is learning from me. That his love of learning comes from my love of teaching. What an amazing child Heavenly Father has given me. I couldn't be thankful enough.
